Upcoming Eminem Album To Be "Classic Em"

Swizz Beatz was interviewed by MTV News this week and he told them some interesting info about the upcoming Eminem album "Relapse." Below is a clip from the new song "Number One," it should be on the album.

Swizz said he's submitted five songs to Eminem, including one featuring both Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. "I don't know the title yet, but it's classic," he said. "It's sounding big."

Another song Swizz submitted to Em is a track the producer is referring to as a "Stan Part 2." "You know how 'Stan' ... was the big [song]?" Swizz asked, referring to the obsessed-fan track which sampled Dido's "Thank You." "So I worked on part 2, and I think it was, like, totally genius."

Bottle Rocket Goes Criterion

Bottle Rocket was a film made by Wes Anderson in 1996 and it stars Owen and Luke Wilson as small time criminals. One of the best comedy films of all time, it will be released by Criterion Collection with a bunch of special features soon. If you have never seen Bottle Rocket check it out, its Owen's best performance ever.

Here is a quick snippet in which Luke's character Anthony gets a little distracted during a stakeout.

Kanye Hits Up Dave

Kanye stopped by Letterman with Love Lockdown. Whether you love him or hate him, this would have been awesome to be in the audience for. If you haven't been, the audience area is actually quite small at Dave and the drums in this performance would have been awesome live.

Ben Harper - Ready to Rock.....Harder

Ben Harper has a new band called Relentless7! He isn't leaving the Criminals, just adding a band to his arsenal. The band will be pure rock music, with inspirations from a lot of classic rock. Check out the myspace for a couple of covers and a brand new track from the band. From what I've heard its impressive, which is expected from old Ben.

Head over to their myspace and checkout "Serve Your Soul." The instrumentation is excellent as usual.

Radio Moscow - Hendrix would be a huge fan

Last night we went to a Radio Moscow show and heard some new tracks off of what will be one of the best albums of 2009. Their debut album was produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and features both an excellent drummer and a brilliant guitar player. Both of which are Parker Griggs. The songs are blues rock masterpieces with psychedelic influences. If you like Hendrix, Clapton, Wolfmother, the Black Keys or the White Stripes then you have ears and you will love Radio Moscow!
